Rock Climbing

Climbers are famously passionate about their sport. Often, to the detriment of their own bodies. Overuse injuries, overtraining, over-stoked, climbers have a tendency to push beyond the point where they should have stopped.

If you have started to notice some of the following, come in and get assessed before it has a chance to develope into a larger problem.

  • Pain in the joints of the fingers

  • Muscular pain that lasts longer than 24 hours

  • Sudden, shooting pain anywhere in the fingers

  • Swelling of the finger joints that lasts beyond your climbing session

  • Inability to fully close your hand, particularly if this lasts beyond the climbing session

  • Acheing around the elbow or shoulders that persists after climbing

  • Persistent weakness of the arms, or fingers, after climbing
